While working for ADD Inc. now Stantec as a Design Coordinator III. I had the unique opportunity to work on the Ritz-Carlton Residences located in Miami Beach, FL. The project started with the purchase of the former Miami Heart Institute Hospital building by LionHeart Capital a development group with extensive experience in luxury living projects, having just finished the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Singer Island, FL. Due to the size of the former hospital and residential location the project was grandfathered with an FAR that would be nearly impossible to achieve by todays zoning codes. However this gives the extraordinary capability to create a truly one of a kind project. Partnered with world renowned Designer and Master Architect Piero Lissoni and Nicoletta Canesi of Lissoni Associati an Italian based architecture and design firm located in Milan. This project is slated to become an award winning new standard of luxury living.
